Membership entitles you to early admission to selected book sales as well as online newsletters and updates. Membership fees support library programs and pay for new books and media. Join us and help support our Library!

We’re always glad to welcome volunteers, especially those with technical skills. We’re an all-volunteer organization, so volunteers are vital. Book Sale
The annual SLOFOL Book Sale at the Vets Hall returns Thursday, February 29th through Sunday, March 3rd, 2024. For more information see our Book Sale page and check our Facebook page for the latest information. In the meantime, watch for smaller sales in or near the SLO Library.
We welcome donations of your gently used books for our sales. You may drop off a small number of items (one to two bags) at the SLO Library in the marked bin to the right of the inner entrance door. We are currently not accepting large donations.
Bookstore
The SLOFOL bookstore is in the corner to your left as you enter the Library, and features gently used books at bargain prices: fiction, non-fiction, children’s books and magazines. Take time to browse when you’re in the Library, and you may find some treasures.
