Each year, usually early in May, the SLO Friends of the Library hosts a luncheon for its members and guests which serves as the annual meeting of the nonprofit corporation, a gathering of members and an opportunity to feature a local author as guest speaker.
The 2018 Annual Meeting and Luncheon will be held on May 3, 2018. The speaker is Jim Gregory, local historian. His most recent book is San Luis Obispo County Outlaws: Desperados, Vigilantes and Bootleggers, and Central Coast Combat Aviators of World War II will be released soon.
